Changing your company's information

We understand that as time goes by, businesses evolve, and you will encounter situations where you'll find yourself in need of updating the original information that you provided when you first incorporated your business. To make the process faster and easier, we offer two different ways of accomplishing this.

To confirm which one of the two options would apply to you, you need to check the Articles of Organization or Articles of Incorporation of your company and review if the information you want to change is listed there or not. 

If the information you wish to change is not listed in the Articles of Organization, you can contact us via email at [e-mail] and we can assist you with your required changes. If the information is listed in the Articles, you will need to file an Amendment with the state.

The most requested changes usually are:

• Change business name
• Change business address
• Change members/directors
• Change number of authorized shares
• Change business activity

Change business name

• If you already have an account with us:
  • To change the business name, you can log into your Dashboard and click here.
  • Select the option that says that you are changing the name of the LLC / Corporation. 
  • Provide the new company name in the box provided for this purpose and select a designator. 
  • Please be aware that we will only change the information you request to change. We will submit the information exactly as you provide. We recommend triple-checking the information before submitting the application.

  • To change the business name, you can access our main website, bizee.com, and place an order for an Amendment. To place a new Amendment order, please click here.

Change business address

• If you already have an account with us:
  • To change the business address, you can log into your Dashboard and click here. 
  • Here, you have the possibility of changing the business address. 
    
    • The system will ask you if you are changing the name of your company, select no if you are not, or yes if you are. If you select yes, enter the new name where prompted and select a designator.  
    • In the large text box, you will type that you would like to change the business address, and you will provide the new address. 
    • You can also request other changes you'd like to make to your company. Be as brief and specific as possible.  
    • If there aren't enough characters, please make sure to write as much as you can, place the order, and contact us via email at [e-mail] so we can add the rest of the information. 
    • Please be aware that we will only change the information you request to change. We will submit the information exactly as you provide. We recommend triple-checking the information before submitting the application.
      
      
• If you don't have an account with us:

Change members/directors

• If you already have an account with us:
  • To change the members, directors, or officers, you can log into your Dashboard and click here.
  • Here, you have the possibility of changing the business address, the business name, and the members/directors.  
    • If you only want to change the members:
      • Select the option that says you are not changing the name of the LLC / Corporation. 
      • Provide the member's information that needs to be updated and be as brief as possible.  This information includes name, contact address within the United States, and the ownership percentage that new members will have.
      • If removing a member or director please include the name and where the member's ownership percentage or stocks will be moved. 
      • If there aren't enough characters, please make sure to write as much as you can, place the order, and contact us via email at [e-mail] so we can add the rest of the information. 
    • Please be aware that we will only change the information you want us to change and we will only use the information you provide to us. We recommend triple-checking the information before submitting the application.
      
      
    • If you want to make more changes:
      • Select the option that says you are changing the name of the LLC / Corporation only if you want to change the name with the Amendment. 
      • Provide the rest of the changes you need to make in the empty box and be as brief as possible.

Change number of authorized shares

  • To change the number of authorized shares, you can log into your Dashboard and click here. 
  • Here, you have the possibility of changing the business address, the business name, and the number of authorized shares. 
    • If you only want to change the number of authorized shares:
      • Select the option that says you are not changing the name of the LLC / Corporation.
      • Provide the new number of authorized shares on the empty box and be as brief as possible. 
      • If there aren't enough characters, please make sure to give us as much information as you can, and contact us via email at [e-mail] to add the missing information.
      • Please be aware that we will only change the information you want us to change and we will only use the information you provide to us. We recommend triple-checking the information before submitting the application.
        
        
    • If you want to make more changes:
      • Select the option that says you are changing the name of the LLC / Corporation only if you want to change the name with the Amendment.

  • Here, you have the possibility of changing the business address, the business name, the number of authorized shares, and the business activity.
    • If you only want to change the business activity:
      • Select the option that says you are not changing the name of the LLC / Corporation.
      • Provide the new business activity on the empty box and be as brief as possible. 
      • If there aren't enough characters, please make sure to give us as much information as you can and contact us via email at [e-mail] to add the missing information.
