What is a Professional LLC or Professional CORP

Depending on the business purpose and the name of your company, the state might consider you will need to file a Professional LLC or Corporation. 

A Professional company filing requires different documentation so it can be processed by the state. This is because all of the Professions that imply a Professional filing (doctor, dentist, lawyer) are required to have a license to practice or provide the service stated in the business purpose. 

In other words, if you require a specific license to provide your services and you want to incorporate a business entity under which you will provide said services, you will need a Professional LLC/CORP.

If you still do not want to be filed and labeled as a Professional then you can not file with restricted words in your company name as the state considers it to be deceiving to the general public. The same thing would apply to words like MEDICAL, BANK, LAW, OLYMPIC, HOSPITAL, CLINIC, ECT.
