If you have a License then you would be considered a Professional in that licensed field.
To explain; when you file to the Secretary of State certain words in a company name get flagged. To the S.O.S., Restricted words like the word "MEDICAL" is signifying a professional service is being performed by your company to the general public.
If you are performing a Licensed Professional service to the public with your company then you need to be filed as a Professional Corporation or LLC instead of a regular Domestic Corporation/LLC.
If you still do not want to be filed and labeled as a Professional then you can not file with the Restricted words on your company name as the state considers it to be Deceiving to the general public. The same thing would apply to words like MEDICAL, BANK, LAW, OLYMPIC, ECT.
Please seek a business adviser if you need more assistance in deciding between being a Professional or not.
