How to file for your business license

We understand that businesses have different requirements depending on their business activity, the county, and the state of formation. We currently do not file licenses on our customers' behalf. 

However, because we also know how difficult it can be to understand all of these requirements, especially for entrepreneurs, we offer our clients the option to purchase a Business License Research Package provided by one of our partners, License Logix.

For just an extra $99, a licensing specialist will conduct the research to determine all of the licenses and permits required to operate your specific type of business in the indicated jurisdiction. 

This package includes up-to-date application forms and filing instructions for each license and/or permit. The only thing left to do would be filling out the applications and following the instructions on where to file for your license.

The Business License Research package does not include the filing of these licenses.  After the research is complete, you have the option to either file the appropriate applications yourself or have License Logix apply for the permits for you for an additional fee. 

Please note that this Business License Research Package is a standalone product and does not substitute the filing of an LLC or Corporation. The paperwork will be delivered to your email.

How long does it take to get my research done?

The Business License Research Package can take anywhere from 2-4 weeks after the business has been formed by the state. Once it is completed you will be emailed the results directly as well as uploaded to your account with us.
